2026 High School Summer Internship

We receive a large amount of applicants every year for the internship, we are not able to contact everyone that applies. If we are interested in interviewing you, you will receive a phone call mid to late May.
Do you like helping people, getting involved in your community, working with new technology, and being creative? Have you ever thought about a career as a Librarian? This summer the Patchogue-Medford Library will be offering you an inside look into what it takes to work at a Library!
*The internship will run from June 29-August 21, 8 weeks.
*You will need to be able to work 17 hours a week.
*To qualify for the internship you must be entering your junior or senior year in high school.
*This will be a paid internship.
